This literary journal represents an age of technology that embraces literature in the Silicon Valley and around the world. This school has been upholding the literature of Silicon Valley since long before Reed Magazine was around. "Every copy was sold two hours after it appeared on the stands," said 1949 editor, Adelle O'neale, about the very first issue of Reed. With the contributions and efforts of writers, artists, and the San Jose population, Reed will continue to be the pillar of the literary Bay Area.
